Balanced Protein Bowl

We all strive to achieve just the right kind of balance in our lives, and in this case, I’ve got you covered. This is a well-balanced nutritious bowl, filled with all the right components give you your healthy fats, carbs, protein, essential amino acids, all in one! Also, it’s outright delicious.

I was inspired to make this bowl because I strive to come out of eating my meals feeling satisfied and energized, while knowing I just fueled my body with so much nutrient-dense food, packed with vitamins as well!

It is simple to make with just a few ingredients, and even easier to prep for meals during your week!

Ingredients

-1 cup quinoa
-1 chicken breast
-1 soft boiled egg
-½ avocado
-½ cup mixed greens

Procedure

-Chicken: Bake chicken breast at 450 deg for 20 min then grill on a pan for extra crisp
-Quinoa: Boil 2 cups of water & add 1 cup quinoa, cook for 10-20 minutes until all the water has evaporated.
-Egg: Bring a separate pot of water to a boil and add in an egg for 6-7 minutes, remove immediately and place in cold water
-To a bowl, add the quinoa, mixed greens, chicken, egg, and sliced avocado, and drizzle some olive oil over the top with some salt and pepper for some extra yumminess.
