Easy Fruity Yogurt Parfait Recipe

When you combine deliciousness + health, there is simply nothing better. This yogurt parfait is going to be your summer favourite!

Too often we think that we have to buy health products from stores, with tons of preservatives, unnecessary ingredients, and worst of all, lacking nutrients.

Don’t get me wrong, buying new products can be fun! It can also help in a pinch when you’re low on time, but being able to make your own healthy food at home that nourishes your body AND tastes great wins above all else.

Here is a simple way to make yourself a yogurt parfait, high in protein and filled with fruit, providing you with tons of various vitamins and nutrients (including my favourite one, fibre!).

Ingredients: Fruity Yogurt Parfait 

  • Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

  • Sliced strawberries

  • Sliced bananas 

  • Raspberries 

  • Orange slices

  • Mint

  • Light drizzle of honey (optional)

  • Cinnamon

Dollop 1 cup of yogurt into a bowl, and top with all the fruits your heart desires! Feel free to add nuts / seeds for extra crunch. Some inspo: sunflower seeds, shredded almonds, crushed pecans, etc. I’d say if you’re choosing a sweetened yogurt (like vanilla flavour) then you might want to taste before adding honey in case it gets too sweet. 

This is a really easy way to feed your body and soul with these delicious, whole, healthy foods, while giving you satiety through lots of fibre from the fruit and protein from the yogurt.
